College sweethearts Savannah and Brayden’s luxury tent wedding in Oxford, Mississippi was a blend of traditional and refined Southern design — all tying back to their time at Ole Miss. As their planner and designer, Emily Sanders Taylor was honored to bring their vision to life in the town where their love story began!
Dressing in Style
Savannah wore a dreamy Galia Lahav gown with a soft and flowy skirt, a structured bodice, and peek-a-boo side cutouts. Her bridesmaids wore mismatched soft blue gowns, while Brayden and his groomsmen kept it timeless in black tuxedos. The overall wedding party style set the tone for the sophisticated but approachable feel of the entire day. Oh, and their pup rocked a floral wreath to match Savannah’s bouquet!
Design Highlights from Savannah + Brayden’s Luxury Tent Wedding
Held on the lawn at Castle Hill in Oxford, the reception took place beneath a custom-designed tent. With inspiration drawn from high-end residential interiors, we brought in the works! From custom table skirts and pillows to designer lighting and pedestals, every detail was intentional.
The couple’s favorite colors—soft blues and whites—carried throughout the design. From the stationery suite to the tent interiors, the palette created a light, airy, and welcoming environment.
One of the most memorable elements of the day was the custom awning we installed over the cake. Inspired by Gracie wallpaper, it became the focal point of the reception.
Thoughtful Touches and a Joyful After Party
Savannah and Brayden moved through the day with ease, taking time to be present and enjoy each moment. Then, they surprised guests with an epic after party that gave their refined celebration a lively ending. The Portrait Bar added an interactive moment to the after party along with a personalized gift for guests.
